Established in 2003, Okoro Development is dedicated to providing quality residential, commercial development, contracting, and consulting in the Baltimore City and Mid-Atlantic region.

Born and raised in London, England, Chukes Okoro received a BS in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Sussex in Brighton, and an MS in Information Systems and Decision Modeling from Brunel University in West London. As an entrepreneur, Chukes Okoro saw the need for quality urban renovation and construction after moving to Baltimore with his family in 1998. Okoro Development has been continually expanding since its inception in 2003. Our expertise in systems and planning makes Okoro Development a unique and effective asset to Baltimore City.

Lara Okoro
Company Secretary, Attorney

A 1993 graduate of London’s College of Law, and a licensed real estate broker in Maryland, Lara Okoro manages our sales, purchases, rentals and contracts. She is a member of both the New York and Maryland State Bar, as well as a certified Public Notary, making her uniquely qualified to handle all types of real estate transactions. Fluent in 3 foreign languages – Spanish, French and Italian – she began her own law practice in 2003 and fully supervises Okoro Development’s property portfolio.
